Description: Introduction to 1 vs 1. One offender against one defender. The defender is “passive” (occupying only the space in front of the offender) and passes the ball to the offender who arrives running. Upon receiving the ball, the offender stops with both feet in front of the defender.

Focus: A) The offender must find the right distance from the defender (the ideal stopping point is just beyond the defender’s arm length). B) The landing must be with both feet simultaneously to be considered a single step.
