On October 7, 2025, Master Group Sport hosted a dedicated HIEP Workshop at the Palazzetto S. Camillo in Imperia, Italy. The event aimed to promote the HIEP project and introduce innovative teaching methods for handball coaches.

The workshop opened with a presentation of the project’s objectives and the activities carried out so far by its European partners. This was followed by a practical training session where coaches experimented with new handball teaching techniques, assisted by a group of young athletes from local teams. The day concluded with an in-depth discussion, allowing participants to analyze the methods and share perspectives for future development.

With 30 participants, including 18 coaches and several young athletes, the workshop successfully combined theory, practice, and collaboration. Attendees gained hands-on experience, exchanged ideas, and strengthened connections within the regional handball community, including professionals from Liguria and the nearby French Riviera.

The HIEP project, supported by the Erasmus+ Sport framework, brings together partners from Italy, Greece, Romania, and Belgium. Its mission is to modernize handball coaching, encourage active lifestyles with a focus on preventing childhood obesity, and promote inclusion by making sports accessible to all.
